Terms of Hire 


A formal quote will be sent to the Hirer regarding the proposed hire of equipment or event services. The quote is valid for 7 days and is an invitation only to the Hirer to enter into a Hire Contract based upon that quote.

Prices for the hire of the equipment & services will be advised by Event Function Hire at the date of hire and are subject to change at any time, on written notice from Event Function Hire. If the Hirer requests any variation to a Hire Contract, we may vary the hire fees to account for the variation.

To secure the hire of equipment or event services, a minimum requirement of 25% deposit is required within 7 days of acceptance of the written quote. Unless otherwise stated, prices quoted for the hire include GST and any other taxes or duties imposed on or in relation to the hire of equipment & services.


If through circumstances beyond the control of Event Function Hire, is unable to provide equipment, then we may: make changes to the equipment provided so that the end performance is not materially prejudiced; or cancel any Hire Contract (even if it has already been accepted) by notice in writing without any liability to the Hirer.

The Hirer may cancel a Hire Contract prior to pickup or delivery of equipment but will forfeit any deposit paid.

Payment Information


Payment for hire of equipment & services must be made in the manner and at the dates referred to in the hire quote.

Payment must be made by EFTPOS, credit card or by cash.

Upon pickup or delivery, we will take a photocopy of valid drivers licence and credit card for security purposes. We may require a security bond to be paid in addition to any hire fees. We may apply the security bond against any amounts payable by the Hirer under the Terms.

Any portion of the security bond not applied at the end of Hire Period will be refunded once the equipment has been inspected on return and determine if no cleaning or repairs are required or any damage has occurred.
